Cointree provides an extremely easy and user friendly way to tip someone. People select their preferred currency, write a comment (optional), enter the amount they would like to tip, and they can then choose how they would like to confirm their transaction by using:

  • a direct link to their wallet (mobile and desktop).
  • a QR-code that can be scanned with their mobile wallet.
  • your Dash address that can be copy-pasted into their wallet of choice. 

To create your own Cointree, go to and click “Sign Up” in the top right (1).

Fill in your email (2), a password (3) and then click  or tap “Sign Up” (4).

After confirming your email address you are asked to choose a username.

Enter your preferred username (1). Your username will be part of the address of your Cointree (, so keep it simple. To save, click or tap “update username” (2).

Write a welcome message (1) and click the disk button (2) to save it.

Select Dash as currency (3) and add your Dash receive address at “Address” (4). Don’t forget to double check the address and to click “Save” (5).

Add more currencies and information as you wish.
